Samsung Galaxy S2 Mini: Android Based Smart Phone
Smartphones have revolutionized the way people stay connected and interact with each other in the 21st century. Through the use of Smartphones, people can check on their emails, chat with each other on a variety of applications, take photographs and videos, and use mobile applications through which users can transact business or play videos; the list is virtually endless. Samsung has a long list of smartphones, which have always been designed to set the benchmark on what a good cellular device should be. The Samsung Galaxy S is one such device, which promises to provide users with a truly memorable cellular experience.
This Samsung Smartphone is a smaller version of the Samsung Galaxy S2. Key features include a 3.7inch capacitive touchscreen display, which is somewhat smaller than its “big brother’s” 4.3 inch display. When it comes to computing power, the Galaxy S2 mini really excels, thanks to a 1.4 GHz processor. To compliment this processing power, the Samsung Phones Galaxy S is built to run on Android’s Gingerbread. This operating system has really nice innovative features that make smartphones, like the S2 Mini, user friendly. Features include:
• An on-screen keyboard: It has an upgraded on-screen keyboard that is faster and more intuitive when it comes to typing.
• SIP internet calls: This OS can support SIP-inter based calls.
• Power and application manager: This application allowsusers to monitor how much memory or processing power, the applicationsthey are running on the background are taking up. On top of that, it allows users to manually kill those applications at your discretion.
• Updated file manager: To make it truly inter friendly, the S2 Mini has a file manager that allows users to view all their downloading activity, email and other application, from one point.
• Developer features: Android is an open source program, which allows developers to redesign the operating system as they see fit. To encourage the creativity of other developers, the S2 Mini has plenty of useful tools through which users can take a jab at coming up with their own version of the Android OS.
• Improved battery usage: Android gingerbread plays an active role in the management of applications that users may not be consciously aware off, that maybe draining the battery’s life. This Operating System will automatically terminate any applicationthat maybe running unnecessarily in the background.
