How to put a video in an Android smart phone for watching
Are you among the few people that have at one point purchased an Android smart phone and wanted to add a video and watch it on the phone, only to upload it and it failed to play? This would have been very frustrating, especially if you were ready to watch that video.
It is suggested that if you want to watch any of your favorite videos using an Android phone, then the first thing you need to know is the file format that your Android phone supports. Android phones and Android tablet are famous for their multitasking abilities that enable them to run multiple applications simultaneously. However, with videos, these cell phones support just a few formats, including H.263, MPEG-4 SP and H.264.
This means that if you want to add a video to your Android phone for watching, you first have to convert the video into any of the above formats before adding it to the phone. This is a very easy step for users who own a professional video to Android converter, such as the popular MacX mobile video converter which is free and has all the essential features. This converter is able to convert any video format such as AVI, MOV, MTS, Xvid, MKV, RM and others into the Android phone video formats.
Below are a few steps you can follow to be able to add and watch a video from your Android phone:
Step 1: Adding the video
To add the video simply click the ‘Add File’ button so that you can import the video you want to add to the Android phone, or you can just drag and drop the video to the video to Android phone converter.
Step 2: Selecting the output format
After you have added the video to the file, information such as its name, size, duration and output will be displayed on the file list. Select ‘to Android’ as the output video format. The video setting will be automatically adjusted in accordance with the selected device preset and, if need be, you can set your own parameters.
Step 3: selecting the output folder
Click the ‘browse’ button that you see in the output setting area and select a destination folder in the dialog box that opens; then click ‘ok’.
Step 4: start the conversion
You can then check the files which need to be converted from the files list and click the ‘start’ button to start the conversion.
After conversion you can then transfer the converted video to your phone by connecting it to a computer.
