Microsoft had developed a Smartphone platform based on Windows Mobile 7 operating system. This platform is called Windows Phone 7. It comes with plenty of new features and capabilities. This platform is a lot improved as compared to the previous releases and is said to compete iPhone, the most popular phone based on it is Windows Phone HTC HD7.
User Interface:
This platform has a very compact interface with various useful features. This interface of Windows Mobile 7 has two column views one is used for social updates and the other one for regular use. Navigation is well admired and pretty much enhanced offering full control on the phone e.g. Windows Phone HTC HD7 offers a cool navigation. The start screen can be customized according the user’s requirements and is very helpful in quickly navigating your favorite features.
People Hub
People Hub offers the every type of updates related to emails, social networking and other online updates that are going on your various internet logon. The screen streams automatically and brings the newest events in front of you. This is a very useful feature of Windows Phone 7.
Pictures Hub
You can manage all your pictures and videos in this menu. It includes all your Facebook albums and the pictures stored in the phone’s memory for quick navigation. The picture display can be customized like the normal windows; you can have thumbnail views or prefer the lists of pictures. The slide show feature is highly improved and the pictures load very easy in a faster way. You can also access the SkyDrive pictures of your Windows Live account on this phone.
Office Hub + Calendar
In the Office Hub you can easily edit or view your documents in any format. You can also synchronize it wit you’re PC and have many advantages from this application. There is another application named OneNote that will be used to track and organize your notes and alert you about the events. The calendar of this platform is also enhanced and it offers a great flexibility.
